Elvin Hess

Pastor Elvin G. Hess, age 79 of Rocky Mount went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. He was Pastor of Celebration Church, Great evangelist in the marketplace and used mightily by God in the Work of the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Fran Hess; brother John Hess; three sons, Keith Hess (Sherry), Daniel Foster (Rise), Wayne Foster (Helen), One daughter, Martha Gearheart (Steve); grandchildren, Jay Paul Hess, Preston Hess, Blake Hess and Victoria Hess, John Harris (Cissy), Abby Hostetler (Brian), Andy Foster, Israel Grissom (Ginnie), Angel Hall (Jayme), and Jesse Gearheart (Samantha); twelve great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Warren Singleton officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
