Ercelle Hodges

Ercelle Hodges, age 86 of Rocky Mount, passed away September 23, 2014. She was born January 11, 1928 to the late Bailey Brown and Myrtle Bennett Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur C. Hodges and a granddaughter Wendy. Surviving are her children Michael W. Hodges, Peggy Boldt, Judy Naff and husband Donnie, Faye Phillips, Gail Black and Lisa Landes; eleven grandchildren Dean, Paula, David, Kristie, DeWayne, Nathan, Dinah, Kayla, Aaron, Samuel and Christopher; nine great-grandchildren Kelsey, Judd, Jessie, Brice, Abigail, Jared, Will, Matt and Araya; her sister Fannie McNeil; good friend David Thurman. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Just Like Home, c/o Martha Sigmon, 100 Westcott Rd., Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Jerry Naff officiating.
