Eugene Davison

Eugene L. Davison, Jr. “Shade” 3-29-48 to 6-18-13 E. L. “Shade” Davison, Jr., age 65, of Boones Mill went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2013 with family by his side. Shade was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Ann Davison. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a member of Roanoke Valley Harley-Davidson group. He retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He is survived by his Brother, Roger Davison of Roanoke; Sons, Kenny Davison and wife Donna of Moneta, Matthew W. Davison and wife Melissa of Wirtz; Daughters, Teresa Thacker and husband Joe of Rocky Mount, Melissa Woolwine and husband Jason of Roanoke, Lynn Hodges and husband Freddie of Rocky Mount; 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild. Funeral Services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. with Military Rites. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
