Eula M. Dillon

Eula Maybell Peters Dillon, age 99 of Rocky Mount, left with angels during the night on October 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Elkanah and Sophia Ferguson Peters, sisters Macie Dillon and Lillie Prillaman and a brother Moody Peters. She was a member of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters Sharon Law and Rebecca Pugh and one son Kerry Dillon (Marilyn); Four grandchildren Kerry Dillon, Jr., April (Jerry) Bond, Stephen Law, Beth (Kenny) Belcher and honorary granddaughter Connie Jones; Three great grandchildren Chase Law, Gena Thomas and Hayley Belcher; Two special caretakers Carolyn Rakes and Connie Jones; and her faithful companion Daisy. The family would especially like to thank Janice Payne for her love and care. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in her name to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 309 S. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bruce Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
