Eva Pruitt Gray, age 75 of Hardy, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011. She was born July 20, 1936 to the late Robert Lee and Essie Jane Pruitt; in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Robert Pruitt & Frances, James Pruitt and Giles Pruitt. Surviving are brothers Lewis Pruitt and wife Joyce, John Pruitt and wife Kathryn, Clyde Pruitt and wife Alice; sisters Iva Eames and husband Ralph, Josephine Trammell and husband Manuel, Mary Frances Dunford and husband Jesse; sisters-in-law Iva Jean Pruitt, Rachael Robertson Pruitt; numerous nieces and nephews; special nephew and caregiver Jesse Pruitt; special sister-in-law and caregiver Alice Pruitt. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
