Evelyn Hicks

Evelyn Hicks, age 85 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was born April 15, 1928 to the late Jordon Poff and Beulah Cooper Nininger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by children Bonnie L. Alls, Emory Butterworth, and Michael Alls; ex-husband Ralph Alls. She is survived by seven children; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m. Monday with Roger Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Alls Family Cemetery in Catawba. Her family will be receiving friends Monday one hour prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave, Rocky Mount.
