Everett Lee Pagans

Everett Lee Pagans, age 83, of Wirtz passed away Monday night, July 2, 2012. He was born October 1, 1928, the son of the late Porter Pagans and Una P. Pagans. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Herman Pagans and Herbert Pagans. He retired from the Virginia Department of Highways after 30 years of service. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Dot) Pagans of Wirtz; children, Roger L. Pagans, Jimmy T. Pagans (Kathy), Shirley Wilkes (Jerry); six grandchildren, Tracy Pagans, Tony Pagans (Sandy), Christy Brudin (Keith), Jason Pagans (Sarah), Wendy Augenstein (Matt), Randy Wilkes (Shelley); great-grandchildren, Lane, Carson, Mya; brother, Clyde Pagans (Evelyn); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Swicegood officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
