Frances Martin Cline

Apr 22, 1935 - Apr 19, 2018 Frances "Frankie" Martin Cline age 82 passed away at her home in Boones Mill on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Mrs. Cline retired from Skyline Cleaners in Salem with over 25 years of service; and then worked for JCPenneys Tanglewood store for over 10 years. Frankie was also a dedicated and faithful attendant since 1981 of Bethlehem Church of the Brethren as part of the "Back Pew Crew" and proud member of the Electa Chapter # 33 O.E.S. Frankie was one of a kind with a big heart and a beautiful smile that made you feel welcomed and warm. Her passion and biggest joy of her life was her family. She will always be remembered and held in our hearts as the loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother that she was. She will be greatly missed by all. She was born a coal miner's daughter on April 22, 1935 in Welch, West Virginia and raised in Mingo County, Matewan, West Virginia. The daughter of the late James and Rhoda Jackson Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vernon Cline; daughter, Marsha Cline; brother, Cecil Martin; and sisters; Sylvia Reynolds, Lilly Martin. She is survived by her three sons and their families, Rodney Cline, Michael Cline (Sonya), Mark Cline (Missy). Grandchildren; Autumn Cline, Ethan Cline, Shane Cline. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, friends, her church, and the Eastern Star family. Mrs. Cline’s family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with a brief Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume following the Eastern Star service. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. by Pastor Bill Hinton and Brother Derek Cowan officiating at Bethlehem Church of the Brethren.
