Frances Nuckolds Tuck

Frances Nuckolds Tuck of Rocky Mount went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 2, 2018. She was born on October 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Rex & Ruth Foster Nuckolds and beloved grandparents, Cap & Patty Nuckolds. Frances was passionate about her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; her pets, and flowers. Frances was employed by Appalachian Power Company (Pennhall) for many years. Later in life she was employed at Abbott-Ross laboratories when she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years A.B. Tuck; A very special, loving friend and companion of 11 years Charlie Bigart; Stepmother, Helen Nuckolds; Sister, Janet Rainey; and brother, Bobby Nuckolds. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Jerry & Shirley Tuck, Robie & Mae Dell Tuck; Grandchildren, Jamie Tuck and Wife Shelly, Aina Tuck & Erick Tuck; Great-grandchildren Haley Tuck, Jase Tuck, Jon Tuck, James Tuck, Jayvn Tuck, Harmony Tuck and Hadalyn Tuck; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Ett Mayhew, Jackie & Ruth Tuck, Jr. and Rose Tuck. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Neighbors. Special thanks to the caregivers at Runk and Pratt, and Medi-Home Hospice, and special friend, Shareka Lee. A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Patmos United Methodist Church at 1405 Patmos Church Rd. Huddleston, VA 24104 with Pastor Rick Barton officiating. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Conner-Bowman Funeral home, and/or one hour prior to service at Patmos Church beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Patmos United Methodist Church 1405 Patmos Church Rd.
