Frank Michael Dombkowski

Frank M. Dombkowski, age 74 of Wirtz and formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 14, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank Anthony Dombkowski and Teresa Agnes Dombkowski. Frank went from being a city boy in Brooklyn, NY to Callaway, Virginia where he owned a small farm. While he enjoyed many passions in life, his true love was his family. Surviving is his wife of 48 years Margaret Dombkowski; three children John, Rachel, and Jennifer Dombkowski; four grandchildren Christopher and Andrew LaPrade, Ellyisia Ferreria, Madelynne Ferguson; brother-in-law Thomas Young; and Frank's friends at Fidelity Bank in Rocky Mount. The family would especially like to thank Gentle Shepherd Hospice, whom they would like donations made to in lieu of flowers: 6045 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, VA 24019. Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 Friday, November 3, 2017 at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
