Franklin Joseph Peery

Franklin Joseph Peery, Sr. age 63, of Ferrum, VA passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. He was born October 2, 1952 the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Egner Peery and his adopted father, Richard Peery. His brother, Henry Arthur Peery, also preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired from Leonard’s Copy System in Vinton, VA. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Boyd Peery; daughter, Melissa Peery; son, Franklin Joseph Peery, Jr. (Joey); special cousins, Peggy and Bob Osborne; special friends, Claude and Sue Chitwood, Tim Leonard; many other friends and family. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Tuesday night at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home (town chapel) with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. before the service starts and at other times the home of Ricky and Vickie Boyd, 1740 King Richard Road, Ferrum, VA 24088.
