Gail Frances Foster, age 63, of Hardy went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28th, 2022. Gail was a retired Registered Nurse who was passionate about caring for people and decided to pursue her dream of becoming nurse at the midpoint of her career. Gail was a gentle and caring person who was loved by all who knew her and was an avid reader who enjoyed mystery novels. Gail was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her grandchildren and was happiest when she was spending time with her family. Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Martin Foster; her parents, Curtis and Betty Simmons; and grandsons, Gabriel Webster, James and Chad Staton. Those remaining to remember and celebrate her life are her children, Keith Webster (Kelly), Garrett Foster (Cindy), and Tina Ross; brothers and sisters, Rachel Arnett, Andrew Simmons (Shirley), Janice Atwood (Lennie), Kenneth Simmons (Theresa), Charles Simmons (Sherry), Calvin Simmons (Gina), Gene Simmons (Jenny); Donna Hugus (Glen) and Julie Kirk; grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary and Graham Webster, Meghan, Kaleb, Ryan and Carleigh Foster, Christian and Kayla Staton, Haley Ross, great-grandson Kyelem Staton; honorary grandsons, Brennon Davis and SJ Hancock; mother-in-law, Perrie Powers, brothers-in-law, Farron Foster (Paula), Lonny Foster (Anita) and Steven Powers (Andrea) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
