...a good man, who lived a long and full life...
George, Sr. was born, raised and lived his younger life in Danbury, Ct. He later moved to New
Milford, and then Southbury,, Ct. Late in life George moved to Virginia.
He worked at Marcus Dairy many years and later on at Macton Incorporated.
George will be remembered first of all, as a man who
loved his family. He so enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grand children,
whenever possible.
He was a man who had many interests. George loved football (especially the Giants), and even played
some for the 'Top Hat Bulldogs', when he was young. He was a dedicated bowler for many years! This man loved
gardening, plants and all things outdoors. George really enjoyed fishing and long daily walks.
As a natural caregiver, he loved to care for animals and birds.
Finally, he will surely be remembered for his talent with baking, especially Carrot Cake and nut
roll, and his wonderful, helpful attitude, which was so charming.
Rest In Peace, our dear man...
