Georgie Louise "Ludy" Wagoner

Georgie Louise “Ludy” Wagoner, 80, of Ferrum, VA went to be with Jesus on Monday, February 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Adkins; parents, Fannie Lera Scott and Charles Hanford Scott; sister, Garnett Woods; three brothers, John Carol Scott, Loyd Scott, Marvin Scott. She is survived by two sons, Dale Adkins and Bradley Adkins (Carla); two daughters, Karen Cannaday (Daryl) and Sharon Turner (Curtis); Grandkids, Jennifer Rakes (Casey), Jessica Heyse (Jeb), Matthew Turner, Lindsey Adkins, Cale Adkins; two great grandkids, Tensley and Brayden Dawson; a 4 legged companion, Tiny; Siblings, Kermit “Jimmie” Scott (Margaret), Douglas “Peanut” Scott, Carl Davis Scott, Darlene “Dean” Guilliams, Danny Scott (Judy). Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Dr. William “Billy” Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the church. At other times the family will gather at the home of the son, Bradley and Carla Adkins, 1950 Henry Road, Ferrum, VA 24088.
