Glenda Cooper Sigmon, age 75 of Rocky Mount and Danville, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. Glenda retired as a CNA from Roman Eagle Nursing Home after having worked at Dan River Mills for many years. Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law Karen and Charles Hazelwood; son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Lisa Sigmon; grandchildren Kimberly and Stephen Dodson, David and Jessica Hazelwood, Glenn Ellis Hardy, Jacob Hardy; great-grandchildren Orion Light, Brittany Dodson, Raven Crane, Jarod Crane, Gabriel Mahaley, Brooke Mahaley, Theodore Hazelwood, Kathryn Isom and Aria Hardy; one brother and sister-in-law Claude and Shirley Cooper; one sister and brother-in-law Edith and Broadus Heatherly; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted from the Cooper Family Cemetery on Factory Hill Rd. in Callaway 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Broadus Heatherly officiating. Her family and friends will be gathering at 12:30 prior to the service at Lynch-Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount.
