Glenda Young

Glenda Mae Crum Young age 50 went home to Jesus, Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was born April 30, 1961.Glenda was preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel (Jimbo) Young. Surviving are her children who she dearly loved, Christopher Lee Young, Tonya Young Cannaday and husband Daniel; Stepson, Stacy Young (Brooke). She is also survived by her grandson Ethan Young who could put a smile on her face on any given day, and a step-grandson, Hayes Young. She also leaves behind her parents, Bobby and Sadie Crum; Brother, Harden Crum (Loretta); Sister, Brenda Carter (Randy); and many family members and friends who helped her in her battle with cancer. She Truly loved her family, dog Spanky, grand-dogs Dolly and Rascals, her lifetime friends, Church friends and many work friends from ITT and Bassett Walker. Each made a smile on her face with their many visits and prayers. Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral Services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, Rt. 220 at 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 11th with Pastor Calvin Hickson officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park.
