Glenn Thompson

Glenn Alfred Thompson, age 83, of Ferrum passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. He was born, August 3, 1929 to the late Dewey Thompson and Lethia Shively Thompson. Also preceding him in death, brothers Marvin, Wilbert, Bluford Thompson and sister Lavie Smith. Glenn attended the Endicott Assembly of God church in Ferrum. He worked for M&W Manufactories for over 20 years where he was a supervisor. Surviving him are his wife of 63 years Marie Midkiff Thompson, son Billy Thompson (Judy), Paul Thompson (Missy Cooper); grandchildren Olivia Thompson (Frank Craighead) and Haley Thompson; sisters Mary (Henry Fulcher) and Valery Richards. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2:00pm with visitation one hour prior to service beginning at 1:00 pm at Lynch- Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel. Pastor Calvin Hixson and Rev.
