Glenna Willard

Glenna Josephine Fennie Willard, age 79 of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully at the home of her brother and sister-in-law Larry and Audrey Robertson, on Saturday, October 9, 2010. She and her hasband lived 55 years in Roanoke before moving into a nursing home in Franklin County. Fennies unwavering faith in the Lord and love of music was a blessing for numerous friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Lillie Robertson; sister Doris Minnix. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jacob Willard; two brothers and their wives, Carliss and Shirley Robertson and Larry and Audrey Robertson; brother-in-law Walter Willard; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Zelda Robertson, Elsie and Ira Powell, Doris and Richard Smith, and Eddie and Jimmy Smith; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
