Gordon Bolling

Gordon Bolling, age 78 of Glade Hill passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Bolling was born July 12, 1932 a son of the late William R. and Charmie Wright Bolling and he was also preceded in death by one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary E. Bolling; his children, Richard Randolph Bolling and friend Angela Huffman, Gordon Junior Bolling and wife Gloria, Brenda Faye Robertson and husband Michael; his grandchildren, Diana Marie Johnson and friend Dale White, Jonathan Wayne Robertson, Gerry JR Johnson, Jessica Marie Dillon and husband Eddie and Jessie Ray Bolling; great-grandchildren, Morgan Lynn, Michael Scott and Daniel Scott Hamilton, Devin Lee Dillon and Tucker Ray Dillon; his brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Estelle Bolling. He is also survived by numerous other family members and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday, and anytime Thursday at the home.
