Harold Edward Roemer, Jr.

Harold Edward Roemer, Jr. age 85 of Glade Hill passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the local hospital. He was born on April 7, 1939, a son of the late Harold E., Sr. and Abby Shuck Roemer. He was also preceded in death b his son, Edward Joseph Roemer; and a sister, Dorothy Roemer.

Mr. Roemer was avid golfer, hunter and loved camping and Nascar rooting for Martin Truex, Jr. He was a hard worker throughout his life especially while his children were growing up as he wanted to provide for his family and give them the things they deserved and what he wanted them to have. He was known for his sense of humor even in the hospital up until his death. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by all. He was a true Patriot of the Roemer family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 65 and a half years, Geraldine Roemer; daughters, Dotti Murphy (Robert) and Donna Miller (Thomas); four grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Ashley (Derek) and Ryan (Kali); seven great-grandchildren, James, Devin, Julissa, Victoria, Dominic, Mia Rose and Jacob; sister, Judith Roper. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In honoring his request, there will not be any services.
