Harwell Haywood Grice

Harwell Haywood Grice, age 82 of Callaway and formerly of Vero Beach, Florida passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Mr. Grice was a retired Fire Fighter Captain of the Vero Beach Florida Fire Department, 32° Mason with Vero Lodge #250 A.F. & A.M., Vero Beach, Florida and a member of the Scottish Rite. He loved flying especially the small Piper Aircraft. He loved God, his family and found great pleasure in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 65 years, Dorothy B. Grice; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Beth Grice; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jeff Maynard; grandchildren, Josh Grice (Ashley), Mandy Yancey (Isaac), Callie Angle (Nathan) and Joseph Maynard; his great-grandchildren, Jovie and Georgia Angle, Emory and Ida Grice; special sister, Joan Little (Robert); nephew, Brett Little. It was Mr. Grice’s request to not have any funeral service and to be cremated as he wanted life to go on for others especially his family.
