Hazel Gertrude Chandler

Hazel Gertrude Fancher Chandler “Gert”, age 83 of Glade Hill passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was born November 7, 1927 a daughter of the late Wilson Arlyn and Roberta Cherry Fancher. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Chandler, Jr. “Bob”; son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. Chandler III “Bubba” and wife Junellen of Hardy; daughter and son-in-law, Robin Chandler Pendry and husband Kelly of Glade Hill; grandsons, Matt Chandler and Mitch Chandler. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Greater Blue Ridge Chapter, 3959 Electric Road, #222, Roanoke, VA 24018 or Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
