H.B. "Butch" Woods

H.B. “Butch” Woods, Jr., age 68 of Ferrum went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was born August 3, 1948 to the late Harry Bernard Woods, Sr. and Wilma Gladys Woods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jessica Woods. Butch was the current pastor of Love of Christ Church where he had been minister since 2013. He was a master electrician and carpenter. Butch loved his wife, children and his grandchildren. Surviving is his loving wife of 19 years Tammy Kay Woods; children Jason R. Hodges (Adrienne), Todd L. Hodges (Tab); grandchildren Brielyn Kay and Brenden Paul-Woods, whom both affectionately called him “Poppi”; sister Barbara Ann Young; his church family; numerous other family and friends. Memorial services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel) 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
