Heather C. Summers

Heather Carolyn Summers, age 27, formerly of Ferrum, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School in Caldwell County, NC. She worked as an equine veterinary tech in Kentucky and Ohio and a small animal tech in Virginia. Heather is survived by her mother Angela Marshall and one brother Jeremy Gibson, both of Glade Hill; paternal grandparents Sidney J. and Delores Summers of Hellertown, PA; two uncles Michael Jones of Collinsville and Tom and Patricia Jones of Poquoson, VA ; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends and their families. Heather was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Howard and Carolyn Jones of Ferrum, and Uncle George L. Jones of Richmond. Her family will be receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 followed by a memorial service starting at 7p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount.
