Hubert Clayton Ashbrook, Jr.

Hubert Clayton Ashbrook, Jr., 65, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born January 30, 1958 the son of the late Hubert Clayton Ashbrook, Sr. and Hazel Childress Ashbrook. He was also preceded in death by a son, Keith Ashbrook and a sister, Barbara Templeton. He was retired from Rockdale Quarries. Surviving are his wife, Cindy Ashbrook; daughters, Ashley Goad (Robbie), Jennifer Ashbrook, Alexis Mullins; sons, Jeremy Proffitt, Danny Ashbrook; 11 grandchildren; sister, Billie Joyce Owens. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Conner Bowman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. before the service starts.
