Jack Dillon

Charlie "Jack" Dillon age 80 of Shawsville and formerly of Franklin County went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He is breathing fully. There are no oxygen tanks, no medications to take, and no doctor appointments. He is laughing and sitting at the feet of Jesus! Jack was born April 27, 1940 to Charlie Edd and Sue Edna Dillon. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, daughter Tammy Myers, and Siblings Roy Dillon, Irene Dillon, and Frances Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Diane; son Lynn (Sarah); grandchildren Dillon Myers (Ashley), Christine Guilliams (James), Floyd Myers (Belinda), CJ Myers (Emily), Juanita Guilliams, and Destiny Myers; along with great-grandchildren, Serenity and Michael Myers, Shaleigh and Lillian Guilliams, Akaysha and Jaxon Myers, and Axell Hall. Also, surviving are several nieces and nephews and dear friends. Anyone wishing to honor Jack can make a donation to the Billy Graham Evangelist Association 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201 where it will be used to bring one more soul to the Kingdom. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Mach 11, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to the mandates placed by our Governor over COVID-19, we will be following the guidelines for social distancing and face masks.
