James Eric Johnson

James Eric Johnson, age 47, of Wirtz, VA passed away Friday, August 16, 2013. He was born January 24, 1966. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Surviving are his wife, Tammy Johnson; three children, Brandin Johnson and his wife, Ada, Caleb Johnson, Ashton Johnson; father, Carey Morgan Johnson, III and wife, Susi; mother, India Riley Johnson Ellis; mother-in-law, Norene Brubaker. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, VA. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Christian School, 3585 Buck Mountain Road, Roanoke, VA 24018 to help with the tuition for Ashton.
