James Michael “Mike” Bennett, 47, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was born July 3, 1973. He was part owner and operator of Boones Mill Auto Service, Inc. Surviving are his parents, James D. “Jim” Bennett and Sue Bennett; two daughters, Amber Lynn Bennett, Ashlyn Renae Bennett; aunt, Betty Young; nephew, Thomas Young, Jr.; friend, Christy Hogan. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Franklin Memorial Park. Due to the mandates placed by the Governor of Virginia over the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be following the guidelines for social distancing and face masks.
