James Edmund Seeley

James Edmund Seeley, Jr. of Rocky Mount, VA died peacefully as he slept, Friday, June 20, 2014 with his daughter attending. We long for the great resurrection morning, when our family will be reunited. 1 Thess. 4:13-18. Jim was a charter member of the Rocky Mount Seventh-day Adventist Church which he helped to establish and was active in leadership. He grew large vegetable gardens every year and enjoyed playing the violin. He was predeceased by 5 months by his wife and sweetheart of 69 years, Eileen. Surviving are daughter Elita; son, Dr. James Seeley, III and daughter-in-law, Pam; sisters, Mary Baker and Sally Fuller; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; dear neighbors and church friends. Memorial services will be held at the Rocky Mount SDA church on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 3:00 P.M.
