James Walter Wray

James Walter Wray age 75 of Rocky Mount passed away at his home on Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born on March 21, 1946 a son of the late Walter James and Ruth Hodges Wray and was also preceded in death by his sons, Dale and Derrick Wray; his first wife, Gracie Stump Wray. He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Webb (Joe); granddaughters, Ashleigh and Jordyn Webb; brother, Bobby Wray (Linda); former wife and friend, Rita Clingenpeel Wray. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Kathryn Budzik officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive (Route 220 @ Wirtz Road) Rocky Mount.
