Jane C. Lee

Jane C. Lee, age 94 of Boones Mill and formerly of Florida passes away on Monday, February 27, 2023 in Rocky Mount Health & Rehab Center. She was born in Roanoke, VA on December 7, 1928 a daughter of the late James P. and Anne A. Charleton. She was a homemaker in Florida where she was a resident for 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee, Sr.; and her son-in-law, Earl Welch.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her two children, Linda L. Welch, Florida, Richard B. Lee, Jr. (Barbara), Boones Mill; three grandchildren, J.W. Lee (Brooke) and Trevor Lee (Natasha) both of Roanoke, Amy Kerner (David), Chesapeake; three great-grandchildren, Archer, Ava, and John Lee. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Darleen Hobbs, Roanoke.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, March 6, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will be private at Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
