Janet Lorraine Ford

Janet “Lorraine” Perdue Ford, age 81 of Glade Hill, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. She was born March 21, 1932, in Bartley, WV. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Charlotte Ann Ford; parents Millard and Lena Perdue; and an infant brother James Elwood Perdue. Surviving are her husband of almost 62 years, Okey Ray Ford; her children Kathy Rae and Tommy Cundiff, Pat and Terry Schronce, Terri and Frank Hodges; grandchildren, T.C. III and Melissa Cundiff, Jeremy Ray Cundiff, Lena Heather and Derek Allen, Robbie and Tiffany Hodges, and Kyle and Mary Hodges; great grandchildren, Raegan Allen, Olivia Allen, Karley Cundiff, Esrina Rae Hodges, and Tucker Hodges. Lorraine greatly loved her family. She was a devout Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. God and family was of the utmost importance in her life. She also loved her Franklin Heights Baptist Church family and her Redwood United Methodist Church family. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Franklin Heights Baptist Church or Redwood United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted from Franklin Heights Baptist Church 11am Tuesday with Dr. Stan Parris officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
