JD Jones

JD Jones age 92 of Ferrum passed away at his home on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born on April 6, 1928 a son of the late Claude and Dora Shively Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Maxine James Jones; and a daughter-in-law, Judy Jones. He is survived by his sons, Jackie Jones and Steve Jones (Barbara); grandchildren, Shannon Jones and Chad Jones; great-grandchildren, Skyler Jones, Trevor Jones and Self Jones. He is also survived by his sister, Inez Cook (Ivy); brother, Roger Jones (Susie); and many other relatives and numerous friends. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Calvin Hickson and Pastor Roger Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Endicott Assembly of God Church, Ferrum.
