Jeffrey Lee Sink

Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Sink age 54 of Henry passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his home. He was an U.S. Navy Veteran and graduated from Alamance Community College with an Associate of Science Degree. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, a steward of the land. He was a Computer Application Technician employed at UNC School of Public Health in Chapel Hill. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Hillman Ferd and Mary Alice McMillan Sink. Surviving are his loving wife, Teresa C. Sink; daughter, Traci Michelle Sink Lavinder and husband George Aaron Lavinder; son, Joel Christopher Sink; brother, Thomas Sink (Rosemary); sisters, Marjorie Griffith (Michael) and Pamela Ray (Dennis); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lois and William Shirley Campbell; brothers-in-law, Wendell Campbell and Robert Campbell (Theresa); sister-in-law, Sara Herbst (Sterling). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends including special friends, Tim and Tomara Spencer. The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, 2363 Brick Church Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren with Pastor Greg Broyles officiating. Jeff’s family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.
