Jeremy Wayne Janney

Jeremy Wayne “Good Old Boy” Janney, 40, of Rocky Mount, VA passed way Sunday, May 28, 2023 at V C U Medical Center in Richmond, VA. He was born January 12, 1983. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Faye Gwilliams; grandmother, Joyce Ann Craighead Janney Bayse; sister, Erin Sheree Jones. Jeremy was a loving and caring to his significant other and his family. He was a hard worker and did everything to make sure his family was taken care of. Jeremy did not meet a stranger and would do anything to help others. He had a heart of gold. His passions were being outdoors, car shows, four wheeling, spending time with family and friends and making yards look good. He is going to be miss dearly. Surviving are father, Jerry Wayne Janney; significant other, Tammy Perdue; two step daughters, Elizabeth Akers (Ralph-aka Buda), Amber Shively; step son, Justin Shively; sister, Brittney Atkinson (Deris); brother, Jason Janney; numerous grandchildren; two nephews, Brett Allen Atkinson, William Axel Atkinson; sister in law, Brenda Perdue (Francisco).
