Jerry Wayne Davis, age 75, of Redwood, Virginia left this Earth peacefully at home surrounded by his family on October 16th, 2015.
Left to cherish his memory and quirks are his loving and dedicated wife, Frances Davis and his devoted daughter Debbie Hall (Jessie). He has left years of memories and laughs with his two grandchildren, Kasey Hall and Cameron Hall. Surviving are his brother, Roger Davis, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Mary Ernestine Davis and Joseph Curtis Davis.
Jerry never met a stranger. From his extensive NASCAR collection, a wide assortment of clocks and an uncanny ability to fix absolutely anything, Jerry was truly one of the most interesting people you could have the pleasure of meeting.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Finley officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. before the service begins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mended Hearts Organization, an organization that played a large part in his life, at 8150 N. Central Expressway M2248 Dallas, TX 75206 Attn: Sheila Todd.
