Jimmie Lee Sanders

Jimmie Lee Sanders, Sr., age 68, of Boones Mill, VA passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017. He was born August 2, 1949 the son of the late Edmond Leo Sanders and his mother, Mary Edwards Sanders. He worked for years as a supervisor at Walker Machine and Foundry. Surviving are his wife, Ellen G. Sanders; son, Jimmie Sanders, Jr; mother, Mary Edwards Sanders; four grandchildren, Susan Butcher, Courtney Sanders, Hayden Sanders, Jamie Sanders; great grandchild, Emilee Butcher; two brothers, Wayne Sanders, Eddy Sanders; two stepsons, Richard Giles, Michael Giles. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Andrews and Rev. Roger Graves officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
