Jo Anne Walker

Jo Anne Perdue Walker, age 66 of Rocky Mount, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Benjamin and Nadine McBride Perdue; brothers, Jake Greer, Earlie Morris and Billy Morris; sister, Tena Hall; special mother Mae Morris. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dennis M. Walker, her son, Gregg Walker; special sister-in-law Anna Morris; special cousins Michael Hall, Steve Morris and Susan Pulliam. She is also survived by other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, S.W., Roanoke, Virginia 24018.
