JoAnne Morris

Joanne Morris, age 63, of Rocky Mount, formerly of Sussex, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. She was born in New Jersey on November 25, 1949. She was preceded in death by her father, L. B. Williams; son, Michael Morris and nephew, James Vealey. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Gerald Morris of Rocky Mount; daughter, Jennifer Ferron and husband Seth of Wirtz; mother, Carolyn Rome Williams of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren, Evan Yerkey, Iain Ferron, Madison Ferron; three sisters, Cynthia Hostler and husband, Tim of Rocky Mount, Carol Licata and husband, David of Jupiter, Florida, Janice Huff and Husband, Kenny of Rocky Mount; nieces and nephews, Lisa Ringleben Ramirez, John May, Brian Huff, Andrew Licata, Jacob Licata, Kristle Licata. Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Liz Lazenby officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the church before the service.
