John "Buzz" Gunnell

John David “Buzz” Gunnell, 55, of Henry, VA passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born March 30, 1961 the son of the late David Gunnell and Gracie Boyd Greer. He was preceded in death by a sister Lona Watson. Surviving are his wife, Debra Gunnell; two step-children, Michael Cassell, Christina Scott; five grandchildren, Madasyn, Allasyn, Tristan, Houston, Skyler; two sisters, Lena Sowder (Robert), Rita Sigmon (Justin); three nieces, Robin Goodman (Justin), Brooklynn Sigmon, Brystal Sigmon; great nieces, Alina Sowder, Trinity Goodman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Quinn Family Cemetery (Maple Grove) with Rev. Bud Nichols and Tommy Sullivan officiating. A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 P.M. Thursday night at the Evangelistic House of Prayer.
