John Eldridge Altice

John Eldridge Altice age 74 of Callaway passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was born on December 24, 1946 a son of the late John and Audrey Ferguson Altice. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Nancy Joanne Lax Altice. Eldridge was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from APCO and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving family, sons John R. Altice (Blain) and M. Scott Altice; daughter, Anne Gearhart (Barry); 11 grandchildren, Amber (Dustin) Woods, Samantha (Cody) Boyd, Carly (Soloman) Malik, Jonathan Altice, Mathew Gearhart, Rayven Altice, Tabitha (Russell) Robertson, Summer Altice, Trey Altice, Samantha Cisco and Emma Watling; six great-grandchildren, Camden, Dakota, Ember, Reece, Aubriana, Lucas and Riley; sister, Janet Altice West; brother-in-law, James Lax (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and many friends. There will not be any services at this time per his request.
