John Phillip Wright, Jr. “Johnny”, age 68 of Sandy Level died Friday, August 19, 2011. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy, a truck driver by profession and an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He will be missed by all who knew him. Johnny was born July 5, 1943 a son of the late John, Sr. and Georgia Sigmon Wright. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Jo Wright Caldwell; and his brother, Roger Lee Wright. He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Ann Wright; daughters, Patricia Henson and husband Jesse of Arkansas and Shari Law of Kansas; his grandchildren, Lori Hale, Rebecca Caldwell, Kenny Ray Caldwell, Katrina Hicks, Michael Hicks, Joseph Law, Jonathan Law and Christopher Law; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Memorial Cemetery.
