Johnola Roe

Johnola “Johnnie” Roe went home to her Heavenly Father on June 8, 2012. She was born on October 25, 1934 in Centrahoma, Ok. She was a 2nd generation enrollee of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Her mother, Viola Grace Horton, was one of the first enrollees of the Choctaw Nation. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace and John Horton, of Oklahoma. Her sisters Alla and Linda, and her brothers John and Ezel. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles D. Roe and her 8 children: Linda McCoy (Jim), Charles D. Roe II, Danny Roe, Jim Roe (Kelley), Judy LaPrade (Doug), Susan Steele (Dwayne), Jessica Callagan (Mark), and Melissa Fraley. Also her 13 grandchildren: Judith Branham, Danny Roe, Jimmy Holtz, Brandon Holtz (Anna), Joshua McCoy, Linda Howard, Tommy Howard (Cathy), Katie Robertson (Shaun), Elizabeth Price (Danny), Kaylynn Wilhelm, Logan Callagan, Lyde Callagan, Cheyenne Fraley and 8 great grandchildren. Also her sister Patricia Sutton of Oklahoma. Her special friends Joann LeBlanc, Maureen Whittle, Ruby Barron, Irene Sigmon, and Violet Reynolds. Also a special thank you to Lydia and Mary of Good Samaritan Hospice for taking special and excellent care of our mother.
