JOSEPH “JOE” HAMEL REGAN October 15, 1948 – July 24, 2021 Joseph “Joe” Hamel Regan age 73 of Callaway, VA went home to Our Lord and Savior July 24, 2021. “Though He brings grief, He will show compassion, so great Is His unfailing love.” Lamentations 3:32 Joe was a true “Man of Steel” Fighting Cancer for many years. He was born in Yazoo, Mississippi to the late Joseph H. Regan and Patricia Keith Regan. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patti Purcell Regan. Joe was a production manager and general manager for many years at Fleetwood Homes in Rocky Mount, VA and Plant City, FL. He later moved to Commodore Homes of VA and eventually retired from Holmes Building System in NC. Joe’s joys were found in anything that contained a motor. He enjoyed Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, Rat Rods, drag racing and he loved boiled peanuts and chocolate cake with white frosting. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sherry Griffin Regan; Sons, Mike Regan (Angie) of Rocky Mount, VA, Joey Regan of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter, Amy Parris of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Madison & Hailey Regan of Rocky Mount, VA, Devon Parris of Lakeland, FL, Hunter Parris (Lisa) and Landon Parris of Plant City, FL; and soon to be great-grandson, Logan Joseph; his special fur baby, George. Burial will be private in Springhead Cemetery, Lakeland, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
