Joseph Henry Rhea

Joseph Henry (Joe) Rhea age 90 of Boones Mill passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War, and he was a member of Boones Mill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Doris B. Rhea; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, special friends and his church family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boones Mill Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 230, Boones Mill, Virginia 24065.Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke with the Rev. James H. Steele officiating.
