Joseph Robert Yopp

Joseph Robert Yopp, age 77, of Boones Mill went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was a member of Henry Fork Church of the Brethren and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Cora Sloan Yopp; 4 Brothers and 3 Sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Martha Yopp; Sons and Daughters; Ricky Yopp (Donna), Debra Brown (Perry), Pam Hicks (Richard), Steve Yopp (Sue), Teddy Yopp (Suzie); 14 Grandchildren; 8 Step-Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; 14 Step-Great-Grandchildren; Sister Faye Carter (Al); Sisters-in-Law Sadie Yopp and Joyce Yopp; Brothers-in-law Joe Lynch, Simon Gibson and Tommy Beckner; Several Nieces & Nephews. Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice for all the care of support. Funeral services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery. His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Henry Fork Church.
