Joseph P. Zecchino

Joseph P. Zecchino, age 64 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Patsy and Mary Zecchino; brother, Nicholas Zecchino; and sister Maryann Mckenzie. He is survived by his sister Susan Donnelly of Rocky Mount; Brother Patrick Zecchino and wife Dianne Zeccino of Hazlet, NJ; Sister-in-law Theresa Zecchino of Middletown, NJ; 5 nieces; 5 nephews; 5 great nieces; and 7 great-nephews. Joe was an amazing person, brother, and uncle. Always there to lend a helping, always offering a smile. He took care of his family, loved bowling, took pride in working around the yard,and putting together his old model cars. Joe will be missed by many. May he rest in peace and fly high as an Angel. He will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016 with Rev. Marco Smith, New Life Baptist Church officiating. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive (Route 220 at Wirtz Road) Rocky Mount.
