Joyce Ann Garman

Joyce Ann Garman age 64 of Rocky Mount passed away at her home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 with her family by her side after a brief illness. She was born on July 14, 1954 a daughter of the late Odell Garman and her mother, Ester Bailey Greene. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Greer. Joyce was a very kind, loving and devoted mother who was passionately known by her grandchildren as Nana. She will be missed by all but never forgotten. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Tina Yopp (Jesse Brennan); sons, Joe Garman (Audrey) and Brad Garman; her beautiful grandchildren, Genesis Gardner, Brantley Garman, Ethan Yopp, Athena Yopp and Alsaka Garman; brothers, Buck Garman (Rose), Ed Greene and Mark Greene; sisters, Connie Wagoner and Teresa Stump (Roger). She is also survived by many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be considered to help with final expenses and may be made directly to the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Waidsboro Ruritan Club.
