Judy A. Sink

Judy A. Sink, age 68 of Rocky Mount passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia. She was a hairdresser and a faithful Bus Driver for Franklin County Public Schools retiring with 38 years of dedicated service. The bond she shared with her students left a lasting memory not only for her but to her students. A Devoted and Loving Wife, Mother, MeMa and Friend to all who ever crossed her path. She will forever be missed and loved. She was born on August 15, 1953 a daughter of the late Roy and Beulah Gibson and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Homer Myers and Clinton Myers. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Sink; daughters, Georginea Johnson (Chris), Julia Angell (Jonathan); grandchildren, Courtney Johnson and Conner Johnson, and Cameron Angell; step-sons, Gary Sink and Larry Sink; step-grandchildren, Zach Sink, Jacob Garner, Bryson Sink, Alex Sink, Morgan Sink. Brothers, Harold Waldron, Ralph Myers, Rocky Gibson; sisters, Loretta Flowers, Linda Griffith, Barbara Carter, Charlotte Vandergrift. She is also survived by her special friends, Kenny and Diane Droddy; and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Wooldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday with her family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
