Judy Hamm Pachey

Judy Ann Hamm Pachey, age 61 of Hardy, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born April 26, 1952 to the late Garfield Hamm and Lillian Finley Hamm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother James Hamm. Judy was a very loving and caring person who was always doing for others. She is survived by her husband of 33 years John A Pachey; children Selena Yvette Shelton (Tim), William Jason Ray Powers (Lisa), Todd Pachey, Brandon Pachey (Megan); grandchildren Cameron Shelton, Olivia Powers, Jessie Downey, Sarah Pachey, Amy Pachey; sisters Nancy Hart, Sue Gentry, and Kathy Miller; brothers Junior Hamm, Thomas Hamm and Richard Hamm; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner Bowman Funeral Home (220 Chapel) 2p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Justin Likens officiating. Interment will take place in Farmers Cemetery, Ashe County, NC. Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount, VA. 540-334-5151
